Join Erika Johnson and Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse (PCCR) for BIO: a reuse ecosystem at Assemble. Everyone is invited to participate in this installation of reclaimed, rescued, and repurposed materials exploring the interconnections among people, creatures, objects, and communities. At the opening party on April 5, select and connect materials from PCCR to co-create the BIO environment. On Wednesday, April 24 from 7-9 pm, join Erika for a conversation about art, science, and reuse, then make-and-take your own biomorphic creation using PCCR’s abundant selection of materials diverted from the landfill.
Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse is a non-profit community benefit organization that promotes creativity, resource conservation, and community engagement through material reuse. Artist Erika Johnson currently serves as PCCR’s executive director.
