Internships at Creative Reuse
Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse is a growing 501(c)(3) community benefit organization whose mission is to promote resource conservation, creativity, and community engagement through materials reuse.
Interns have been a vital and valued part of our recent growth, and we currently have opportunities for up to five committed, creative folks who would like to use their skills and energy to help us build a more creative and sustainable Pittsburgh.
Although these volunteer service-learning positions are designed with students in mind, we will gladly consider both credit-seeking and non-student applicants.
- Shop Assistant Intern
- Bulk Materials Intern
- Nonprofit Administration Intern
- Festival and Event Intern (MUST be available June 2-30)
- Outreach Intern (filled for summer 2014)
Internships require a minimum commitment of 120 hours over 8 weeks. Longer commitments are welcome and encouraged. Start dates and schedules are flexible.
Internships at Creative Reuse are unpaid. We can offer you our generous team-member discount on creative materials, an occasional slice of pizza when we all work late, and the opportunity to be part of something magical.
PCCR is an equal opportunity workplace. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to apply.
