Early Education

Reclaimed materials provide so many opportunities for play and early childhood development. This interactive workshop introduces the theory of loose parts and provides hands-on examples of how open-ended materials can be used to support early childhood learning objectives.

Maker Education

We believe reclaimed materials are great for inspiring innovation and problem-solving, precisely because they take some creativity just to figure how to use them. Our Maker-focused workshops provide tips on maximizing reclaimed materials in your classroom or makerspace.

Arts Education

Bolster your art instruction with the environmental and artistic benefits of reclaimed materials. In this workshop we discuss historical and contemporary examples of artists reusing, and share how to encourage spontaneity and material exploration of beautiful reclaimed materials.

Professional Development for Non-Educators

We provide team-building and creative workshops for all professionals. These workshops are designed to improve communication among team members, strengthen creative problem-solving skills, and deepen understanding of sustainability. We believe that reclaimed materials are perfect for inspiring innovation and problem solving. When we see these materials outside of their usual context it makes it easier to imagine them in new and exciting capacities. Our programs work for both large training sessions and in smaller group settings.
