Marketing Internship
Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse maintains a social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We also send out a monthly e-newsletter highlighting upcoming events and educational programs, Shop sales, and business donor recognition. We need some help creating content promoting who we are and what we do. We especially need help maintaining our TikTok channel. The Marketing intern would work mainly with the Shop Manager/Marketing Assistant, although projects might involve collaborating with other team members such as the Executive Director, Creative Manager, and Shop Staff.

Potential Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)
- Work in a team to generate new ideas and concepts for social media content
- Manage regular posting schedule of event promotions and other content
- Create new shareable meme, content, and engagement opportunities
- Research and participate in trends through the lens of Creative Reuse
Qualifications:
- Interest in social media and marketing
- Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment
- Ability to learn and adhere to our brand style guide and creative voice
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate and more than proficient with preferred video editing software
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to bring own laptop required
- Initiative and follow-through skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Passion for the environment, art, education, and community engagement
- Comfortable asking questions when they arise
- Willingness to learn
